Quotes

The project coordinator Ross Rankin said: "Blantyre did really well. Going against the Scorpions is a daunting task for any team in the league and the Bears did a good job in spells but unfortunately the Scorpions just had the edge."
"The squad had to first fight and win their own weight or height division and then they had to re-fight in the Grand-Championship divisions, which was open weight, so if you were of a lower weight, then you had a big disadvantage against the heavier weights or heights."
Gerry Campbell, general manager of South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, said: "This was a fantastic event with two very capable teams from South Lanarkshire schools coming head to head in the Scottish Final. Well done to both teams and congratulations to Duncanrig Secondary School team who came out on top for Scotland."
In a relaxed and upbeat mood, Fenlon said: "My message to the supporters is to go and enjoy themselves."
