Quotes

..."I'm extremely grateful for those guys making the commitment to North Tonawanda with me," Truilizio said. "I take it from a standpoint of friendship and loyalty that it doesn't go any deeper than what I have with those guys. ... Their professionalism and knowledge of football obviously shows. "One guy can't do it alone," he continued. "I'm the head coach, but without those guys, you don't have the success that you have. Any one of them is capable of being a head coach in their own right. For me to have them as assistants is a huge plus." Truilizio added the program retained modified coaches Sean Bruso and Michael Hromowyk. Bruso has been moved up to the JV team while Hromowyk will serve as an assistant on the modified squad. "I'm still very impressed with Sean," Truilizio said, noting that Bruso ? who's a candidate for the head JV gig ? has been a major contributor in the NT offseason conditioning and workout program. "Sean knows the program and he knows North Tonawanda in terms of our needs." Truilizio, a physical education teacher at Riverside, has had his hands tied so far this spring, due to his commitment in coaching the Frontiers' boys lacrosse. "I have to meet the obligation to those kids," he said. "I've had assistant coaches coming and Sean Bruso coming in three days a week. ... Kids have been in the weight room, which I'm happy about. Kids are committed to being successful. I think we're all looking forward to the start of the season." The Riverside lacrosse season ends in the next couple of weeks. Truilizio plans on holding a team meeting May 21. He said the Jacks will attend three summer camps this offseason, beginning June 4-8 with the High School Player Development Camp at the Buffalo Bills Healthy Zone Fieldhouse (formerly the Ralph Wilson Fieldhouse)."
Mark O'Brien: "Obviously I can't be a police officer, so this is kind of my way of being part of it. This is my way of helping people and I like the excitement of the job."
