Quotes

...From top to bottom every player contributed and we had a season high 13 hits," said coach Rodney Monbrum. "St. Elmo has 20 plus wins this year and to come out and win the way we tonight I was very impressed with the players performance. Tonight was all around the best game our team has played all season and we are looking forward to Saturday's game and the chance to win the school's first ever baseball regional."
"This was a good way to end the season,†coach Al Lord commented. "We threw out a run at the end of the game which would have been the tying run. The boys finished with four wins in a row.""
"We have 18 players this year compared to 12 or so," said Lee. "Early onon it seemed like we were a week and a half behind as far as where we were with repetitions and that was because we had so many girls out. It is good to have 18 players. We struggled early to get that two-out hit. We have had a lot of girls step in that situation and come through for us."
