"I'm highly delighted as second was way above my expectations. It is a bonus, as is playing at Slaley Hall. ?I am absolutely flabbergasted as I haven?t played a lot of golf at all. I put the clubs away September and haven?t played since. I?ve practised a wee bit in January and March but this is the first tournament I?ve played. ?There?s been one slight swing change as I pulled a muscle in my left arm and that?s helped me quite aa bit, but other than that nothing has altered.? During an outstanding amateur career, ending when he turned pro at 20, Harvey won the BritishBritish Boys at Moortown in 1972, one year after losing the final to Howard dark at Barassie."
