Quotes

...to speak, but did he think that there was a somewhat different approach this year, a different mentality towards this year's Ulster championship. "Yes I suppose from this year's point of view you could look at it in a couple of ways, there is a fair degree of pressure on us but against that there is not a high level of expectation in the county and people will be looking at it that maybe there is no pressure on us and everybody will be expecting us to fall on our faces. From our point of viewview as players though we are hungry for it and we would believe that we have every bit as good a chance as in previous years firstly to get to an Ulster final and having achieved that to then go on and win it. From our own point of view there is pressure because we as a team have high expectations of ourselves but against that we won't get a lot of pressure from the outside and that is good because if you look back at Monaghan over the last five or six years we have performed better when the odds were against us and at times when there was low expectation but on other occasions when we were seen as favourites unfortunately we flattered to deceive, so maybe it's a good way to be going into it this year"
