Anna came second with Celine turning the tables. Anna led to the top mark and then extended her lead to the wing mark, but Celine got past Anna on the downwind leg. 'during the next two legs Anna steadily caught up, but was not able to get past. The leading two finished well clear of the rest of the fleet.' The other Australian girls in the fleet had a mixed day. Jacinta Ainsworth (Qld) is 14th overall and the second placed under-16 sailor. She had placings of 16 and 13. Other Australian placings were: Anna Philip (Vic, 25th), Cassandra Schlimbach (ACT, 29th), Elyse Ainsworth (Qld, 37th). Maddie Salter, Tasmania's other competitor at the worlds is placed 41st, having found the light conditions tricky.
