Quotes

Speaking to the club's website, Neale said: "I would like to put on record the contribution made by Ken that has allowed us to achieve something that was only a dream four years ago - reaching the Conference. "We have met with Ken since Boro won promotion and we would not wish to stand in the way of a fantastic career opportunity for Ken in professional football. We will keep in touch and wish him the very best on his new career path.""
..." The statement added: "The club acknowledges its responsibility for the conduct of its supporters. "We also accept that it is the duty of the match officials to report all potential racist matters, and the obligation of the North Riding County FA to respond accordingly. However, we are convinced that our supporters are not racist and we made the decision to appeal immediately.""
Dobres told the club's website: "On the surface, this might not feel like great news. But what it means is that every time you come and watch the Rooks do their stuff on a matchday from now on, you'll know that, thanks to your ticket money, you buying a beer, you buying a shirt, you buying a Golden Goal ticket, you buying a pie and your support being commercially valuable to sponsors, YOU paid for that team you're supporting."
Speaking about the situation, chief executive of Rodney Parade Ltd Chris Brown said: "These have been long and complex talks. "All parties are keen to make this happen and have shown a great deal of cooperation but it is crucial to ensure that the interests of all parties are protected and that this proposal enriches all of those involved.""
